Ah, New York, New York! Received this postcard from Maria Cecilia of New York, USA. through postcrossing. I have wonderful memories of the New York when we went last may for a holiday. My cousin was kind enough to drive us from Washington to New York. We stayed for a night in the bright and lively city of NY, NY. We went on the red tourist bus, Guggenheim Museum (which was unfortunately close on a Thursday), Liberty Island and a lot more places. At Times Square, they have a huge Toys R Us shop, about 3-4floors, with a kids Ferris Wheel inside.
you can view some of my NY photos in my post HERE
Have a great weekend everyone!

another postcard from postcrossing, this time from Agnes of Poland. i was really surprised with this postcard because she placed a coin on it. she said the polish coin, called "grose" has less value but brings happiness. and it surely made my day. =) it also came with a very nice message about her christmas vacation and skating. Thanks Agnes for the wonderful postcard!

a surprise came in the mailbox a few days back. i received this postcard from by Sheila of APOSTCARDADAY. she's got a large collection of postcards shown in her blog, and she updates daily, as the title of her blog says. I really like getting her updates. Thanks again Sheila! for sending a wonderful surprise.
From Sheila's blog, i also found a link to POSTPALS of UK ~ a site which allows you to brighten a sick child's day by sending them mail, a card, letter, postcard, or gifts. as simple as that. i got excited and wrote a few postcards and decorated them with colorful stickers hoping it will bring a smile to the child who will receive it. i sent out my first few postcards last Wednesday. if you have time, do drop by the site and hopefully, send a note or two, to the children on the list.

Have a nice weekend everyone!
